26 Weeks

We're enjoying a Monday-Saturday (Jered's actually home from work!) so I have time to put up a blog. The best news since my last post is that Jered passed his Chief's exam again and made board. His score improved 10 pts and he is one of only 12 AT1's at I level in the FTS program (country wide) to make board. He also had the third highest test score. Yay for Jered!

The baby is doing well, lots of kicking and moving. Our next appointment is March 30. Will is getting excited about the baby. Yesterday I was shopping with our friends Sara and Ella. I said, "Will, where's Mommy's baby?" He pointed at my tummy and said, "Right there!" I asked him "Is is a brother or sister?" He told me, "Sister!" So then we asked him "What is sister's name?" and he said, "Emma! Sister Emma!" He even named his littlest car "Baby Sister Emma car." It's really really cute and I'm glad he's excited.

He's such a sweet, thoughtful boy and solicitious of Mommy. He asks me "Is Mommy sick? Mommy's okay?" and says, "Mama's sleepy" and pats my back. The other day when we were eating lunch, he accidently kicked my foot under the table. He said, "Sorry Mama. Is Mama hurt?" I told him, "No honey, it's okay. I'm not hurt. You are very sweet." He replied, "Okay, Mama happy! Will happy!" So so precious. He's also so friendly to everyone we meet. Last night we went to Red Robin. We sat at the top of the stairs and he greeted everyone that came up the stairs with a Hi! and a really big smile. He also has started saying his own prayers before nap and bedtime. He says, "Thank you Jesus Hannah and Hailey and Kendra and Geoffrey and Ella and Rylan....and ummm...Daddy at work and jets and trains....and uh ummm...Monkey Gym...Uggy and Max and Mama..." and whatever else we did that day. It's hard to not crack up and it's so cute.
The picture of Will is him enjoying a Frosty. Our after-gym treat on Wednesdays is to pick up Wendy's on the way home. He loves his icecream!

We always say that Carter is going to grow up to be a Walmart greeter :o)

Carter also prays like Will. At meal time he will list everything on his plate, his fork, spoon, plate, straw, on and on and on, until I stop him with an "Amen!" :oP
