Fun in the Sun

July has just flown by with weekly beach trips, park play dates, and other outings. Will starts school (kindergarten, what?!) this week, so we've been trying to cram fun things into our last couple of weeks. Today Jered was off, so we took a family trip to the Air and Space Museum. The kids had so much fun (all 3 of them...lol), and we made some good memories. Tomorrow is kindergarten orientation, then a park playdate, then the next day is school! I'll sure miss having my big helper at home. It will be quiet without him. I look forward to having some mommy and daughter time with Emma, since we've never really been alone together. Back to toddler activities, which were so fun with Will. I know she will miss him too, but she's a real mama's girl, so I'm sure she will enjoy the time together.

Happy Fourth of July!

We went to our friends parents’ house for the Fourth today. Will and Jered got in their pool, but it was only 70 degrees outside, so Emma and I opted out. She gets cold so quickly, she was shivering just sitting outside, even without getting wet! Will and Jered had fun playing with Zach and Madalyn in the water. We had bacon cheeseburgers, potato salad, and brownie sundaes with coffee for dessert. It was a fun evening!
