Jered's 38th Birthday

For Jered's 38th birthday, he got to sleep in a little in the morning.

 

Then he opened his presents and cards. I don't know if the kids or Jered were more excited!

 

 

That evening we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner.

 

He had a red velvet birthday cake with cream cheese frosting. We were still on our diet, so I did not make him a big tiramisu like usual. We bought only the half cake, so there wouldn't be any left overs!

Emma's 2015 Dance Recital

Emma's dance recital this year is on Father's Day, June 21st. This year her tap/ballet class is doing a ballet performance. Tonight was her dress rehearsal. Her little class did such a great job! They are adorable, and such good friends too. We're not allowed to take pictures or video during the recital Sunday, so these are it!

 

 

Emma is 5 Years Old!

Emma turned 5 yesterday, June 13th. In the morning after Will and Jered returned from the CHKD 1-Mile Fun Run, Emma opened her family gifts and cards.

 That afternoon she had her first "friend" party, with the girls from her class at school, ballet, and Sunday School. We did face painting, made tiaras and bracelets, and had yummy snacks and a cupcake cake. Uncle Ian was also here for the weekend to celebrate. The kids have had a lot of fun playing with him. He and Jered are going to the theater tonight to see the new Jurassic Park movie. These pictures were taken by our friend Bylinda, who also helped me clean up afterward. Thank goodness for good friends!
